Canvas Camps provide a fun and enriching opportunity for young artists to build foundational art and design skills while exploring a variety of media.
Our camps are rooted in the fine arts with larger scale + more ambitious projects! All of our camps offer a wide range of project themes that spark creativity + exposure to a fun mix of age-appropriate art techniques each day.

How to Enroll
Returning families may go directly to your Canvas Family Portal to enroll in a Summer Camp.
New families: Scroll down to select the week of camp and click “Enroll”. Next, you will be prompted to create a Customer Account. Here you will be able to enroll your child(ren) into your camps of choice + make the tuition payment.
If the Enroll link is unavailable, the camp is full. In your Portal account, you may click on “Waitlist” to be added to the camp’s wait list.
Tuition + Protocols
The full balance is due no later than the first day of camp.
Payments can be made in the Canvas Parent Portal or in-studio by check, cash or credit card.

Changes Cancellations
Change requests must be submitted at least (7) days prior to the start of camp. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, space permitting.
Cancellation requests for a full refund must be submitted (7) days prior to the start of camp.

There are no refunds for last minute cancellations; however, we will consider any special circumstances and offer a studio credit at our discretion.

Week 1:
June 22 – June 25
Petite Picasso’s (Ages 4-7)
9:30am – 11:30am
Designed for smaller hands and big imaginations, our youngest artists will be introduced to a variety of media and methods; drawing, paintings, printmaking, collage, & clay.
Sunflowers & Selfies (Age 7-11)
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Inspired by masterpieces of Van Gogh, each artist will create paintings bursting with sunflowers and colorful self portraits. and 3D objects exploring form, shape and color with an emphasis on processes, materials and techniques.
Pop Up Friday (Age 4-6)
“Frogs & Lily Pads”
9:30am – 11:30am
Our littlest campers will make their own lily pad habitat for their froggy prince. 3D sculpting and painting while exploring form, shape and color with an emphasis on processes, materials and techniques.
Week 2:

Stars, Stripes & Statues (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Celebrate the 250 years of Americana creating 4th of July Art, paint red, white and blue flags, multi-media sky full of stars and fireworks and a 3D Statue of Liberty.
Lady Liberty & Fireworks (Ages 9-12)
1pm – 4pm
Inspired by the Iconic Statue of Liberty and NYC harbor and bridges. Develop drawing, painting and collage skills. Each Lesson encourages creativity and develops tapping into individual expression and imagination.
POP-UP Friday! (Ages 4-6)
“Rocket Pops”
9:30am-11:30am
Draw, paint and create colorful, red, white and blue popsicles in a festive colors.
Week 3:
July 6- July 9
Rainbow Rainforest (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Draw, paint and sculpt colorful chameleons, crocodiles, turtles and more! Learn to design and be inspired by the fascinating creatures of the rainforest. 2D illustrations and 3D sculpted creatures.
Clay Play (Ages 5-9)
1pm -4 pm
Create and sculpt fun clay creatures! Learn to work with clay through the process of hand building and designing. Turn abstract ideas into physical forms and sculpted creatures. ($40 additional materials fee for clay, glazing and firing)
POP-UP Friday! (Ages 4-6) “Anything is Popsicle”
9:30am-11:30am
Draw, paint and create colorful and cool popsicles and ice creams in a variety of mediums.
Week 4:
July 13 – July 16
Amazing Amazon (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Be inspired by the wonders of the Amazon River. Stretch your imagination and develop your drawing and painting skills while exploring studpendous designs in nature, while creating wildlife from the rainforest, toucans, sloths, pink river dolphins, and more
Sunsets & Seascapes (Ages 9-12)
1pm – 4pm
Refine your painting skills. Learn about composition, perspective and values while working on brush techniques using watercolor and acrylic. Create beautiful cloud studies and seascapes of your favorite places or discover new places to create.
POP-UP Friday! 7/18 (4-6 years) “Butterflies + Bees”
9:30am-11:30am
Create imaginative and buzzy 2D & 3D projects inspired by colorful butterflies and fascinating bees working with a variety of mediums.
Week 5:
July 20 – July 23
Under the Sea (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Dive beneath the waves and find inspiration under the sea. Fish, mermaids, octupus, crustaceans and plant life will generate an ocean of ideas for creating treasures from the shore. Come create some gifts from the sea!
Pinata Fiesta (Ages 6-11)
1pm – 4pm
Back by popular demand! Spend the week creating your own authentic pinata in the traditional Mexican paper mache method. So cool you wont want to break it!
POP-UP Friday! 7/18 (4-6 years) “Lady Bugs”
9:30am-11:30am
Create bright and symmetrical winged bugs in 2D & 3D projects inspired by colorful lady bugs with a variety of mediums.
Week 6:
July 27 – July 30
Wild Striped Kingdom (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Design 2D & 3D projects inspired by all types of wild animals while focusing on symmetry, texture and patterns of tigers, zebras and lemurs. Drawing, painting and a multitude of materials will be explored while creating our striped creatures.
Designer Dream House (Ages 8-12)
1pm – 4pm
Design the doll house of your dreams! Create handmade interior miniatures while gaining color, composition and interior design skills. Create miniature artworks, found materials for furniture and create clay accessories. This will be a magical house filled with creative gems to treasure.
NOTE: Wooden doll house will be fully assembled at the start of camp (22″w by 23″ h) All you have to do is decorate! An additional materials fee $60 included in cost of camp.
POP-UP Friday! (4-6 years)
“Furry Friends!”
9:30am – 11:30am
Calling all animal lovers! Paint and draw your favorite furry friends and add some inspiring details to make your pet extraordinarily adorable!
Week 7:
August 3 – August 6
Surfs Up (Ages 8-10)
9am – 12pm
Hang ten and explore island and surft culture as we dive into fun 2D & 3D projects inspired by all things sun, sand & surf. Ride the wave of creative expression while experiencing the true passion of painting.
Comics and Characters (Ages 9-12)
1pm – 4pm
Draw, create, animate! Channel your inner superhero with character development, visual storytelling, comic strip paneling, pencils, inking, painting and more.
POP-UP Friday! 8/1 (4-6 years) “Blast Off!”
9:30m-11:30am
Join us as we explore an out-this-world mix of media through the exploration of drawing and painting galaxies of fun.
Week 8:
August 10 – August 13
Bird Mania! (Ages 6-10)
9am – 12pm
Draw funky birds from your imagination & inspiration from nature. Create multiple 2D & 3D versions of birds using watercolor, acrylics and clay.
Monster Mash! (Ages 6-10)
1pm -4pm
Draw monsters from your imagination & inspiration. Create multiple 2D & 3D versions of monsters using watercolor, printmaking, clay and plush stuffed animals -sew fun!
POP UP Friday! 8/14 (4+)
“Rainbows & Sparkles”
9:30am – 11:30am
Add some glimmer and shine to help make your artistic creations pop. Dream up some playfully gleaming rainbows with sparkle that shimmer with fun.
Week 9:
August 17 – August 20
Sweets n’ Treats (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Draw, paint & sculpt your favorite desserts in a variety of media. Painting and drawing 2D + 3D projects a summer fun favorite camp filled with mouthwatering creations. Ice cream cones, layered cakes and donuts decorated to perfection. Yummy!
Modern Masters Pop Art (Ages 7+)
1pm – 4pm
Larger scale works and colorful paintings! Create Lichenstein comic style self portraits, Warhol style printmaking, to name a few! Lots of exciting paintings to create while exploring different mediums and learning about the Pop Art movement.
Pop-Up Friday! 8/15 (4-6 years) “Pink Flamingos”
9:30am-11:30am
Create your own tropical pink flamingo painting. Gain design skills while creating this fluffy flying wonder.
Week 10:
August 24 – August 27
Art Safari (Ages 5-9)
9am – 12pm
Ready to explore exotic lands and herds of amazing wildlife on the desert plains? Discover painting, printmaking, collage and sculpture techniques that will be infused into each project on your expedition. Creating herds of Elephants, girafees, zebras and lions.
Aloha Summer (Ages 8-11)
1pm – 4pm
Say goodbye to summer with us as we explore island + surf culture one last time. Dive into fun 2D + 3D projects inspired by all things sun, sand + surf!
Discover painting techniques in watercolor, acrylic, oil and more while creating observational and abstract large and small scale works in paint… then compose your very own masterpiece.
