Canvas Camps provide a fun and enriching opportunity for young artists to build foundational art and design skills while exploring a variety of media.
Our camps are rooted in the fine arts with larger scale + more ambitious projects! All of our camps offer a wide range of project themes that spark creativity + exposure to a fun mix of age-appropriate art techniques each day.

How to Enroll
Returning families may go directly to your Canvas Family Portal to enroll in a Summer Camp.
New families: Scroll down to select the week of camp and click “Enroll”. Next, you will be prompted to create a Customer Account. Here you will be able to enroll your child(ren) into your camps of choice + make the tuition payment.
If the Enroll link is unavailable, the camp is full. In your Portal account, you may click on “Waitlist” to be added to the camp’s wait list.
Tuition + Protocols
The full balance is due no later than the first day of camp.
Payments can be made in the Canvas Parent Portal or in-studio by check, cash or credit card.

Changes Cancellations
Change requests must be submitted at least (7) days prior to the start of camp. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, space permitting.
Cancellation requests for a full refund must be submitted (7) days prior to the start of camp.

There are no refunds for last minute cancellations; however, we will consider any special circumstances and offer a studio credit at our discretion.

Petite Picasso (Ages 4-7)
9:30am – 11:30am
Blast off! Designed for smaller hands and big imaginations, our youngest artists will be introduced to work in a variety of media & methods: drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, clay + more.

Piñata Fiesta (Ages 6-10)
9am – 12pm
Back by popular demand! Create your own piñata in the traditional Mexican paper mâché method. So cool you won’t want to break it open!
Painting Palooza! (Ages 4-9)
1pm – 4pm
Explore the magic of paint! Make bright and unique creations with watercolors, tempera, and acrylic as we dive deep into our imagination. Designed for hands of all ages and skill!
POP-UP Friday! (4+)
“Surf’s Up!”
9am – 11:30am
Hang ten and explore island + surf culture as we dive into fun 2D + 3D projects inspired by all things sun, sand and surf.

Under The Sea (Ages 5-8)
9am – 12pm
Dive beneath the waves and find inspiration under the sea. Mermaids, shells, crustaceans, animal & plant life will generate an ocean of ideas for creating treasures from the shore. Develop drawing, painting and sculpture skills as you design your gifts from the sea.
Animal Adventures (Ages 6-10)
1pm – 4pm
Explore the animal kingdom and create artworks inspired by both wild and tame creatures! Let your imagination run wild as you create animal-inspired artwork. Build design skills while exploring paint, pastel, clay and more!
Week 4:
July 8 – July 11
Unicorns + Dragons (Ages 5-8)
9am – 12pm
Explore the fantastical world of fairytales and the wonder of visual storytelling. Classical myths and creative creatures can transfigure ordinary art supplies into magical masterpieces. Infuse your design skills with a week of artistic wizardry as you journal, draw, and develop painting techniques in watercolor + acrylic.
POP Art! (Ages 6-10)
1pm – 4pm
Explore Pop Culture Iconography! Create paintings from Pop Art favorites – Lichtenstein portraits, Warhol printmaking, Romero landscapes and Burton Morris colorful pop icons. Lots of exciting creations will keep our campers busy creating fun pieces all week.
POP-UP Friday! (4+)
“Furry Friends”
9am – 11:30am
Calling all animal lovers! Let’s paint and draw your favorite furry friends. We’ll create puppies, kitties and other adorable pets.

Art Around the World (Ages 4-7)
9:30am – 11:30am
Explore the world through art! Designed for smaller hands and big imaginations, our youngest artists will be introduced to works of art from around the world and create their own works in a variety of media & methods: drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, clay + more.

Sweets n’ Treats (Ages 6-10)
9am – 12pm
Draw, paint & sculpt your favorite desserts in a variety of media. Painting and drawing 2D + 3D projects a summer fun favorite camp filled with mouthwatering creations. Yum! .
Treasure + Treehouses (Ages 6-10)
1pm – 4pm
Create a treehouse of your dreams filled with magical fun filled treasures. Design, build and paint the dream house tree house every kid would love to explore.
POP UP Friday! (4+)

Surf’s Up! (Ages 5-8)
9am – 12pm
Hang ten in this summer camp. Explore island + surf culture as we dive into fun 2D + 3D projects inspired by all things sun, sand and surf.
Fashion Fun (Ages 7-10+)
1pm – 4pm
Create wearable costumes and fashions. Be inspired by jewelry, masks and clothing. Design wearable art and unique accessories. Beginners welcome, no experience with sewing necessary.
Week 8:
August 5 – August 8
Butterflies + Bees (Ages 4+)
9am – 12pm
Create 2D + 3D projects inspired by colorful butterflies and fascinating insects. Learn about the different roles these creatures play in nature. Discover how insect designs can inspire engineers and scientists to innovatively mimic nature.
Comics + Characters (Ages 8-12+)
1pm – 4pm
Draw, create, animate! Channel your inner superhero with character development, visual storytelling, comic strip paneling, pencils, inking, painting and more!
POP UP Friday! (4+)

Aloha Summer (Ages 5-8)
9am – 12pm
Say goodbye to summer with us as we explore island + surf culture one last time. Dive into fun 2D + 3D projects inspired by all things sun, sand + surf!
Teen Art Makers (Ages 12+)
1pm – 4pm
Draw like a master and improve your techniques. Refine your skills by focusing on light, contour, texture, and perspective. Apply these techniques in a variety of mediums, drawing inspiration from historical and contemporary artist from around the world and throughout the centuries.
